Drive-By Baby Shower

COVID-19 really messed up my dreams of having a fun, safari-themed baby shower for my little boy, but I was still able to improvise and do a drive-by baby shower! Nobody wants to miss out on their baby shower because of the Coronavirus! Drive-by activities started trending, and I even saw some drive-by baby showers, so I came up with a few activities and ideas, and had a successful drive-by baby shower!

Because some of the restrictions have been lifted in my area, I was able to plan activities where people could get out of their cars if they wanted. Activities included late night diapers, advice for the mommy and daddy-to-be, guess how many candies are in the bottle, and a fun parking lot paper plate toss!

This shower was simple to plan for, and didn’t cost very much either! For the decorations, I bought four cube-shaped boxes and wrapped them in blue wrapping paper. I found some bubble letters on google images and blew them up on Microsoft word. I printed them out, cut them, and glued them to the boxes to spell “BABY” which was a really cute addition! That decoration probably costed around $10

I also bought balloons ($10) and blue table clothes ($2) from the dollar store. I got some poster boards from Walmart to make all of the little signs ($5) and then the laundry baskets were a dollar each ($4). The plates for the paper plate toss came from Walmart as well ($2).

The thing that cost the most was probably the little goodies we put together. I bought blue and white colored sixlet candies and mini baby bottles on Amazon ($30). Below are pictures of how my drive-by shower was set up!
